Appointed to be raised by this Parish pursuant to an Act
Passed in the 35th.. year of the Reign of his present Majesty
King George the 3rd.

The Notice given in Church being Read and which
was as follows

Saint Clement Danes
29th March 1795

Notice is hereby given that a Vestry will be held in the
Vestry Room of this Parish on Thursday next at 11 o Clock in the fore
noon To take into Conson the most speedy & effectual means of raisg. the 15 men
appointed at a Genl. Sessions of the peace holder on the 24th. day of March Inst. to be raised
by the Parish of Saint Clement Danes exclusive of the Inns of Cot. New Sun Lyons Inn Clemts
Inn that part of the Middle Temple which lies in the County of Middx the Pish of [..]
Mary Le Strand & the Precinct of the Savoy for the Service of the Navy in pursuance of an Act
Intituled "An Act for raising a certain No. of Men in the Sevl. [..] in England for the
Service of his Majestys Navy.

The Act of Parliament was gone into and Stated
Clause by Clause

It was moved by Mr. White and Seconded
by Mr. Marchant

That Advertisements be Inverted for Volunt [..]
Offering a Bounty of Twenty two Guineas

That Hand Bills be Printed and Stuck up
and Distributed for the like Purpose through all the different
Districts

That a Committee be appointed with
Discretionary Powers to Act in this business consisting of

Treasurer of this Parish

The Steward of New Inn
The Steward of Clements Inn
The Steward of Lyons Inn
