The Question was put

Carried in the Affirmative

Mr. Jones the Bricklayer of Newcastle Street
reported the Slate he found the Weathercock in upon
examining it-that it was decayed & bruised
and would not turn that repair was wanting

Mr. Geo Prince< no role > Surveyor , reported that the repair
was absolutely necessary

Mr. Brownly of Wych Street Smith, that he had
seen it since it was down and it wanted repair
Whereupon It was Moved by Mr. Paybody,
& Seconded by Mr. Gill

That the Weathercock belonging to the steeple
of this Parish Church be repaired on the the best
manner

Carried in the Affirmative

Mr. Paybody then Moved and was
Seconded by Mr. Owen

That Mr. Jones be paid a regular and fair Bill
and not confined to any Stipulations or Contract
between him and the Churchwarden.

Mr. Geo: Prince reported that repairs were wanting and necessary
to be done to the Steeple such as slopping
Jointing &c. & Recommending that it should be
done while the Scaffolding was up.

Whereupon Mr. Paybody Moved

That all Repairs Necessary to be done to the
