The Revd. Mr. Scott attended and delivered to the Churchwardn.
and Overseers, sevl. Abstracts of Various Lacos for the.
better Ordering of Society which had been sent him from
the clerk of the peace,-which being inspectd.

The Vestry proceeded To take into consideration the.
Recommendation of the Magistrates as to the enforcing
the due Execution of such Laws-whereupon It was Moved
by Mr. Kitchiner.

"That the sevl. Peace Officers of this Parish be desired to use.
"their utmost Endeavours to enforce Obedience to the several
"Laws now in force for the better Ordering of Society and
"Particularly such as relate to the Profanation of the Lords
"Day-Profane Cursing and Sweard. Lewdness-Gaming
