Read and Auditted the Churchwardens Account of
Burial for the Month of August last Amountg. to the Sum of £3..10:2

At the same time read and Auditted the Overseers Accounts
for the same Month amounting to the Sum of £233:15.0

The Minutes of the Churchwardens Overseers of the Poor
and Assistants being read with regard to Employing Mr. Cardell
as a Task-Master over the Poor for the manufacturing and spinning
of Mop Yard & other Business at 20 Gs. P Ann besides Board
And on the Question's being put whr. such Minnes of the 2d Septr.
Instant shod. be Confirmed or not the same was unanimously
Confirmed accordingly:

A Motion made by Mr. Rainforth and seconded by Mr.
Williams whr. a resolution(in Case of its being Carried) shod. be
Presented to the Magistrates for granting Licences for the
Holbourn Division on Saturday next praying that they wod be
pleased to refuse granting Licences to the fell House Vizt. The
Fish in Strand Lane , The Spotted Dog in the Strand and the
Cellar Opposite Arrundell Street a Night Cellar lately called
the Coach & Horses they being deemed by the Parish at large to
be great Nuisances harbouring all kinds of Suspected Persons
of the worst of Characters and suffering Tippling gaming &c
most if not all Night long Contrary to the Statutes &c and on this
Question's being putt the same was Carried in the Affirmative
Nomine Contradecente.
