General Committee met Concerning the Sufferers by Fire
pursuant to Notice

The Chairman having made a Motion which was seconded
by several Gentlemen Present that the Business Concerning
the Sufferers by Fire might not be Impeeded but that the same
shod. be forthwith proceeded upon and on the Questions being
put It was Carried in the AffirmativeNem Con

Mr. Williams then reported to the General Committee the
proceedings of the Sub Committee relative to the Accounts sent
in by several of the Sufferers by Fire whose Claims did not Amount
to more than 5. agreeable to the Minutes of the 30th. of Octr. last

A Motion was then made and Seconded and the Question
put Whether the Minutes of the Sub-Committee shod. or shod not
be Confirmed the same was Carried in the Affirmative Nem Con

A Motion was then made by Mr. Tapp & Seconded and the
Question put whr. a Drat. shod. or not be drawn on Messrs. Snow Denne &
Co. for the Sum of 26..8..6 in Order to pay the Sufferers by Fire
whose Account did not amount to more than 5 and that the
Sub Committee meet to Morrow Evening for that Purpose the
same was also CarriedNem Con

A Motion was likewise made by Mr. Tapp & Seconded and the
Question Put, That all those Sufferers whose Accounts shod. not
amount to more than £20 & to be Proceeded upon to Morrow Eveng.
at 5 of the Clock the same was likewise Carried-Nem Con

Adjourned till to Morrow Evening at 5 o Clock
