Resolved and agreed that the following Preliminary
Articles be observed & signed by the sevl- Candidates Vizts-

1st.

That all persons paying to the Poors Rate have a Vote
at this Election

2d.

That all persons who have been rated in the Poor Rate
Books who have refused or neglected to pay their Poor Rates
or who have been excused on acct. of their Poverty for two Years
last past he excluded from Voting

3rd-

That the Organist Sall. be contind. as heretofore at £30 Pr- Ann-

4th-

That the Election being on thursday the 9th- Instt- at ten of the
Clock in the forenoon and close at 4 in the afternoon and on
Friday & Saturday during the same hours and then the
Poll to be finally closed

5th-

That before the Election begins these Articles be read over
to the Candidates and that they do subscribe their
Assent thereto
