work, and to make a scaffold at the east end of the
Church for the Painter, and where else he shall wan [..]
in doing his work, to the inside of the Church, the
said work to be done in a workman like manner
will come to the sum of Seventy two Pounds and
five Shillings £72..5s..-

NB.

If there shall be any Extra work to be done to the
Ornaments or Plaistering which, cannot be known
till the scaffold is made, The same to be paid
for over and above the Sum of Seventy two Pounds
five Shillings

An Estimate of Painters Work to be done
at St. Clements Church

To painting all the plain work inside and out that
was painted before

To cleaning all the Wainscot and oiling of Do. Pews
Excepted

To cleaning the Columns and Gold Caps of Ditto

To cleaning & oiling the Organ & painting the Ornaments

To cleaning painting and oiling the Chancel

To Gilding and Painting fine Blue the Altar Rails
Irons to Chandelier's Pulpit Churchwardens and
Overseers Pews and Iron to font

To cleaning and oiling the Pulpit and painting &
cleaning the King's Arms in Cieling

All to be done in a Workmanlike manner
for Forty six Pounds
