To Reside in the house.

Subject to the Orders of the Overseers & Assistants
not to be absent without leave nor out after
10 OClock at night

To keep a Book of Cloathing Etc.

To keep a Book of all Apprentices bound out &
to whom Etc.

To keep a Book of all Children sent to
Nurse.

To bring an Account every Monday to the
Vestry Clerk of all Persons going in or out of the
House for the Week past & the Passes with them

To manage the House go round the Wards
Serve Dinners, take Account of Cloaths Etc.

To watch the several Articles served in the
House-& guard against Imposition & to examine
every Person coming in as to Settlement & put the
minutes of such Examination upon a Slip of
Paper & Annex it to the Pass.

The Paupers upon the Average that are in
the house are from 260 to 300.

The Persons applying are to send a Letter directed to
the Churchwardens and Overseers & Assistants of
Saint Clement Danes Stating their. Name - Age
Place where they now reside - where they have
Resided for some years last past - the Business they
have been in and References for Character.

That the same be inserted 3 Times in the
Publicans Paper
