It was then Moved by Mr, Perrins and
Seconded, That whatever Candidate shod. be
Elected, that He should be subject to the Terms.
and Stipulations on the appointment of a Surgeon
on the 5th. day of December 1780, And not only
those, but also That if in Dangerous.
Circumstances of Midwifes, The Assistance of
a Man Midwife shod. be Required, The Candidate
who should be Elected shall Attend, or shall if
not in that Line of Practice find a Gentleman
to Attend without any Expence to the Parish

Mr. Owen Answerg. for Mr Patch if he shod. be
Elected and

Mr. Dent Answering for Mr. Crowther if he
shod; be Elected;-

The Question was put and carried
unanimously in the Affirmative

She Poll being then Opened, Mr. Crowther.
on the close thereof was declared duly Elected.
He having a Majority of 6 - He having 11 Votes
in his Favor and Mr Patch but 5.

Whereupon the Churchwarden declared Mr.
Crowther duly Elected Surgeon to the Poor
of this Parish
