The Clerk laid before this Committee a Bill from Alexander Anderson< no role > amount
to £40 for Cleaning this Parish (Except the Streets under the optional Clause) from
Michas to Christmas last

Also a Bill from Balchin and Lucas Lamplighters for one Quarters
Lighting of Lamps from Michas to Christmas last amounting to £137..9s..8d
which being severally read it is Ordered that the same be transmitted to the
Commissioners for Payment out of Monies received for Repairing Cleansing and
Lighting for which purpose this Committee signed the same

Ordered that the Sum of £250 be paid into the Bank to the account
the Commissioners for Paving Etc. to be by them applied in Payment of Bills for
Repairing Cleansing and Lighting.

An Order from the Commissioners for Paving Westminster Etc dated
11th. Instant being read wherein it was ordered that this Committee shod: be acquainted
that the Committee for the Parish of Saint Martin had applied to the Commissioners
to New Pave Burleigh Street with part of the Stones to be taken from the Strand
Cockspur Street and Charing Cross and that this Committee be desired to transmitted
to the Commissioners the amount of the Rates in that part of the said Street w [..]
lies in this Parish.-Ordered that return be made to the said Commissioners
the amount of the Rate for Repairing Cleansing and Lighting that part of Bu [..]
Street which lies in this Parish is £15..5s. per Annum And that the amount of
said Rate from that part of this Parish which begins near the Savoy steps
the Strand and extends along the same to the corner of Cecil Street in the Stro [..]
is £44..12s per Annum.

The Clerk having laid before this Committee a Case by him drawn for
Councils Opinion as to the Legality of the Justices Quashing the Rate set on
Chambers in Serles Court which being Read It is Ordered that the Clerk do
lay the same before Mr. Dunning and Mr. Morris.

The Clerk having prepared the Accounts desired by the Commissioners in
their Order of the 7th. December last It is Ordered that the same be transmitted
to the Commissioners for Paving Westminster Etc.

Ordered that this Committee will meet on Friday next at five o' Clock
in order to settle the Collectors accounts.

Adjourned to Friday next at 5 o'Clock
