At a Meeting of the Committee for Paving Elected and
appointed pursuant to an Act of Parliament in the Vestry
Room of Saint Clement Danes the 7th. January 1774

Proposed and agreed that Mr. Butler take the Chair.

The Minutes of the last Meeting read and Confirmed

The Committee having Considered of the Commissioners Order of referred
of the 21st. December last relative to Craven Buildings. Ordered that the
Pavement be raised by Mr. Meredith under the direction of the Commrs. Survey
and the Inspection of Mr. Butler Mr. Rainforth Mr. Stichall Mr. Ponten
Figge and Mr. Wallis or any three of them.

The Clerk having laid before Committee the Letter from the Parish
Saint Andrew Holborn above the Barrs and Saint George the Martyr
relative to the proposed alteration of the Jurisdiction of the Commissioners
other matters Ordered that the Clerk Sumon the Committee to give the
opinion thereon the next Meeting Night.

Mr. Nixon the Inspector being Sworn returneth that the Passage of
Devereux Court into the Strand wants repair and that in Ship Yard there are
two loose Stones and a Coal Hole Stone broke and the like in Hemlock Court
that Wickham Court wants a little repair and the name to be wrote up and
that Kings Arms Court wants to be Repaired. Ordered that the said [..]
Repairs and Work be done.

Adjourned to the 21st. Instant at Six o' Clock
