Saint Clement Danes

Middlesex

to wit Mary Davis< no role > aged about 23 years
upon her Oath saith That she Rented and lived in
a house in Ship Yard in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes for about Twice Quarters of a year at the
yearly Rent of Twenty Eight Pounds that she
hath quitted said house about Three Months
since which time she has not done any Act
to gain a Subsequent Settlement And further
this Examinant upon her Oath saith that she
is Pregnant with Child or Children which is
or are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards
and to become Chargeable to the said Parish
That oneGwyn a Hair Dresser who
lives in Shire Lane is the father thereof he
having had Carnal knowledge of this Examts.
Body and begotten the same thereon and that
he is the only real and true father thereof
