MaryEleanor Burridge< no role > aged about 21 Yrs. Upon her
Oath Saith that she never was married Rented House Messuage
or Tenement or paid Taxes That she lived with Mr. Cogburn
in Catherine Street in the Parish of Saint Martin in the fields for five Years at the Yearly Wages of £3 That she quitted
said Service about Two Years since which times she
has done no Act Matter or Thing whereby she may have
gained a Subsequent Settlement And further that
Examinant upon her Voluntary Oath saith That about
Two Years and a half ago she was delivered of a Male
Bastard Child at the House of a Mrs. Collicks in New
Inn a Passage in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes who has since been Christened by the Name of Thomas< no role >
That one Thomas Stevenson< no role > a Compositor is the true and real father
thereof he having had Carnal Knowledge of this
Examinants Body sameand begotten the same
thereon and that the said Thomas Stevenson< no role >
is only real and true father thereof.
