Saint Clement Danes

to wit Elizabeth Tunks< no role > aged about 29 years upon
her Oath saith that she never was married Rented
House or Tenement or paid any Taxes that she never
lived as an hired yearly Servant in one place for one
year that she is the Daughter of George Tunks< no role > that she
was born in the Parish of Dawley in Shropshire that
her Father was a Carpenter and lived in Colebrooke
Dale in Shropshire in the Parish of Maidley And
further this Examinant upon her Voluntary Oath
saith that she is pregnant with Child or Children
which is or are likely to be born Bastard or
Bastards and to become Chargeable to the said
Parish of Saint Clement Danes That one James
Lennan
< no role > a Grocer at No: 43 Leadenhale Street
is the father thereof he having had Carnal
knowledge of this Examinants Body sometime
in or about the Month of September last and at
several times since at one of which times he
did beget the said Child on Children of which
she is so pregnant and that the said James Lennan< no role >
is the only Real and true father thereof.
