House or paid Taxes that she lived as a hired
yearly Servant with Mr. Clarke in Portugal Street in
the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County of
Middx for Two years or thereabouts at the yearly
wages of £6 that she hath quitted said Service
about 6 Months since which time she has done
no Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement And
further this Examinant upon her Oath Saith that
on the 28th. day of November last she was delivered
of a Female Bastard Child at a Licensed House in
George Court Water Lane which hath since been
Christened by the Name of Mary< no role > That one David
Jenkins< no role > an Attorney as this Deponent believes who lodges at No. 7 in Breams
Buildings Chancery Lane is the father thereof he
having had Carnal Knowledge of this Examinants
Body and begotten the same thereon and that
the said David Jenkins< no role > is the only Real
and true father thereof
