to wit Elizabeth Baldwin< no role > aged about 28 Years
upon her Oath saith that she never was married
that she lived as a hired Yearly servant with Mr.
Checke in White hart Yard in the Parish of Saint
Martin in the fields in the Liberty of Westminster
for about Fifteen Months at the yearly wages of
Seven Guineas that she hath quitted said
Service about Two years since which time she
hath not lived as a hired yearly Servant for
Twelve Months or done any Act Matter or thing
whereby she might have gained a subsequent
Settlement And further this Examinant upon
her Oath saith that on the 7th.. day of September
now last past she was delivered of a Male Bastard
Child at the house of a Mrs. Clark in Clements Lane
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County of
Middlesex and Liberty of Westminster which hath
since been Christened by the Name of John< no role > that one
Joseph West< no role > who is now board the Ferret Ship of
War is the only real and true father thereof he
having had carnal knowledge of this Examinants
Body and begotten the same thereon and that
the said Joseph West< no role > is the only real and true
father thereof
Man never taken Qy. in wher. any & what Allowance to the
Woman.
