to wit Isabella Church< no role > aged about
21 years upon her Oath saith that she never
was married That she was bound an Apprentice
by the Officers of the Parish of Saint Anthony in the
City of London to one Mr. Newman a Baker who
then lived in Charterhouse Lane where he lived for
Four years that then her said Master removed
to Stepney in the Hamlet of Mile End Old Town
in the Parish of Saint Dunstan Stepney in the
County of Middlesex where she lived for the
Space of Six Months That then her Mistress
dying her said Master told this Deponent that she
was at Liberty to go about her Business that she
accordingly went to Service but never lived Twelve
Months at any one time or done any Act Matter
or thing whereby to the best of this Examinants
knowledge Information or belief she might have
gained a subsequent Settlement And further this
Deponent upon her Oath saith that she hath an
illegitimate Child living Vizt. Thomas< no role > born on the
21st. day of March now last past in the Workhouse
belonging to Saint Sepulchre without
