Mary Ralph< no role > Aged about Twenty six Years, upon
Oath says she never was Married and that she now lives
a hired Yearly Servant with Mr. Lacey a Hosier in Clement
Inn Passage in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the
Liberty of Westminster and County of Middlesex and hath
so done for the space of Six Years at the yearly Wages of
Five Pounds; And further upon her Voluntary Oath
says she is Pregnant with Child or Children which is or
are likely to be Born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
chargeable to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes she
being poor and unable to Maintain the same when Born
Says that one Henry McDonald< no role > who is now an Apprentice
to the said Mr. Lacey had carnal knowledge of her Body
sometime in the Month of January last and at several
times afterwards at one of which times he got her with
Child of the Child or Children with which she is now
Pregnant and that the said Henry Mc. Donald and
no other Person did beget the same
