Martha Evans< no role > Aged about Twenty three Years Upon
Oath says she never was Married nor ever Rented Ten Pounds a
Year, paid Taxes was an Apprentice or lived a hired Yearly Servant for One
Year, says her Father John Evans< no role > now lives in a house of
of his own in the Parish of Rixham in Denbighshire in
North Wales in which he carries on the Business of a Carpenter
and Undertaker , And further upon her Voluntary Oath says
that on the Twentieth of November 1767, she was delivered
of a Male Bastard Child in the House of Mr. Holmes
in Great Shire Lane in the Parish of St. Clement Danes
in the Liberty of Westminster which hath been Baptized
by the Name of Robert, says that Robert Edwards< no role > an
Attorney at No. 3. Ground Floor in Lincolns Inn Now
Square did beget the said Male Bastard Child on her
Body he having had carnal knowledge of her Body
some time in the Month of February 1767, and at several
times afterwards, at one of which times he got her with
Child of the said Male Bastard Child of which she was
delivered as aforesaid And that the said Robert Edwards< no role >
and no other Person did beget the same
