Sarah Morgan< no role > aged about 50 Years upon Oath says
she is the Widow of Thomas Morgan< no role > who has been dead abt.
fifteen Years to whom she was Married at the Fleet London
about twenty Years ago, says her said husband was a Welsh
Man and that she can give no Account of his Settlement
says she never was an Apprentice, Rented house, paid
Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant for One Year and
that about fourteen Years ago she was delivered of a female
Bastard Child in the house of Mr. Scamell in Stanhope Street
in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr.
which hath since been baptized Sarah< no role > ; and that about twelve
Years ago she was delivered of another female Bastard Child
in the house of the said Mr. Scamell in Stanhope Street afore
said which hath since been baptized Jane< no role > ; and that about
Ten Years ago she was delivered of a Male Bastard Child in
the House of Mr. Hand the Corner of Vinegar Yard Drury
Lane in the Parish of St. Martin in the fields in the
Liberty of Westminster aforesaid which hath since been
baptized John< no role > ; says that John Patrick< no role > who was Father
of the said Children is dead, and that she being poor is
not able to Maintain them And further upon her
Oath says her Father Saml. Birch< no role > Rented and lived in a
house in Oxford Road in the parish of St. Anne in the said
Liberty of Westminster of the Yearly Rent of Seventeen
Pounds for one Year or thereabouts, quitted sd. house
about Ten Years and hath not since Rented House
or paid Taxes to this Examinants knowledge or belief
