Martha Tomkinson< no role > aged about 22 Years upon Oath
says she was never Married and that she lived a hired Yearly
Servant with Mr. Younger a Shoemaker for thirteen Months
or thereabouts at the Yearly Wages of ThreeTwoPounds and Ten
Shillings, says Mr. Younger lived Twelve Month's or thereabts.
the first part of this Examinants Service in Clare Street in
the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster
and then removed into Russell Court in the Parish of Saint
Martin in the Fields in the said Liberty of Westminster
where this Examinant lived with the said Mr. Younger One
Month or thereabouts and then quitted her said Service
and hath not since Rented the Yearly Value of Ten Pounds
paid Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant for one Year
And further upon her Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant
with Child or Children which is or are likely to be born a
Bastard or Bastards and to become chargeable to the said
Parish of St. Clement Danes where she now lodges, she being
Poor and Unable to Maintain the same when born, Says
that Mr. James Keal< no role > of New Inn in the aforesaid Parish of St.
Clement Danes had Carnal knowledge of this Examinants body
sometime in the Month of May 1765 and at several other
times since, at one of which times he got her with Child
of the Child or Children with which she is now Pregnant
and that the said James Keal and no other Person did beget
the same.
