Years Upon Oath says she is the Wife of Hugh
Horton
< no role > with whom she intermarried in the parish Church
of St. Clement Danes about Thirty six Years ago
says her said husband served seven Years Apprentice
ship with Mr. Shaw Perukemaker in Essex Street
in the said parish of St. Clement Danes and never
Rented Ten pounds a Year paid Parish Taxes or
lived a hired Yearly Servant for one Year and
that on the 9th. day of October 1744 The Church
Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
St. Clement Danes aforesaid granted a Certificate
to the Parish of Norwood in the Precinct of Hayes
in the County of Middlesex allowing this Examinant
and her said husband to be Parishioners legally
Settled in the said Parish of St. Clement Danes
