Jane Black< no role > aged about 31 Years upon Oath says She was
never Married Says She lived a hired Yearly Servant with John
Cleveland
< no role > Esqr. at the Admiralty Office in the Parish of St.
Martin in the Fields in the Liberty of Westminster upwards
of a Year at the Yearly Wages of Six Pounds quitted her said
Service upwards of two Years and hath not since lived a hired
Yearly Servant for a Year Says She was delivered of a Male
Bastard Child in the Twenty fifth day of November last in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the sd. Liberty of Westminster and County of Middx
which hath since been Baptized James and is become Chargeable
to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes She being poor and
unable to maintain the same And further upon her
Voluntary Oath says that one Ralph Jennings< no role > a Footman
living at Mr. Sterk's a Watchmaker in Lombard Street did
beget such Male Bastard Child he having had Carnal knowledge
of her Body the latter end of February or beginning of March
last and that no other Person did beget the same
