Mary Browne< no role > aged about 35 Years upon Oath Saith She
is the Widow of Daniel Brown< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. who hath been dead about
Eight Years and that her said Husband Rented a House in
Aldersgate Street in the Parish of St. Botolph without
Aldersgate of the Yearly Rent of Forty Pounds and lived in
the same about three Years And that She hath not since the
Death of her sd. Husband Intermarried with any other Person
Rented a House paid any Taxes or lived a hired yearly Servant
And further upon her Voluntary Oath Says She is pregnant with
Child or Children which is likely to be born a Bastard or
Bastards and to become Chargeable to the Parish of St. Clement
Danes where She now lodges She being poor and unable to
Maintain the same when born Says that the Revd. William
Cockayne
< no role > did beget the sd. Bastard Child or Children on her Body
he the said William Cockayne< no role > having had Carnal knowledge of
this Examinants Body in the Month of November last and at
sevl. other Times since at one of which times he got her with Child
of the sd. Child or Children of which She is now pregnant
