The Examination of Jno. Nash< no role > Lodging in the
Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx
Taken ye. 30th. Day of March 1741 Who upon his
Oath saith yt. about 15 Years ago & whilst he was
a Singleman he lived as a Yearly hired Servt . with
one Captn. Spicer in Red Lyon Square in the
Parish of St. George in Queen Square in the County
of Middx aforesd. for the space of one Year &
upwards at the Yearly Wages of £5 And this Examint.
further saith yt. he hath not since he left his said
Service Rented £10 a Year Paid Parish Taxes
or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other
Place to his knowledge or beleife that he hath
Wife Named Elizth< no role > . who is now Sick & being
Poor is not able to maintaine himself & her.
