The Exaicon of Prudence Rice< no role > on behalfe of Mary Griffen< no role >
now in the parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx who
upon her Oath Saith that Wm. Griffen< no role > husband of the above named
Mary Griffen< no role > is now a prisoner in Wood street Counter for Debt
and that upwards of Twelve Months since the sd. Wm. Griffen
lived in & Rented a House in the Strand in the parish of St.
Martin in the Fields in the Liberty of Westmr . of the Yearly
Rent of Twenty pounds or upwards & continued to live in the
same for the Space of one Year or thereabts. And further Saith
that the sd. Wm. Griffen hath not since he left the sd. House rented
Ten pounds a Year pd. parish Taxes or otherwise gained a
Settlemt. in any other place to this Examnts Knowledge or
beleife & that the sd. Mary Griffen< no role > is Sick & poor & not able
to maintaine herselfe
