The Exaicon of Margt. Giles< no role > Singlewoman lodging in the Parish
of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx taken the 16th. day of
Febry 1739 Who upon her Oath Saith that she lived a Yearly
hired Servt . with Mr. Richd. Paine< no role > at the Crown Tavern in
Chancery Lane in the Liberty of the Rolls in the sd. County of
Middx for the Space of three Years at the Yearly Wages of four
Pounds, Eight Pounds, & Ten Pounds and hath been come away
from her sd. Service abt. five Years And further Saith that
She hath not since she left her sd. Service ever rented any
House or lived with any Person as a Yearly hired Servt. for the
Space of one Year or otherwise gained a Settlemt. in any other
Place to her knowledge or beleife that she is now Pregnant
with Child & by means thereof is not capable of Providing for
herselfe
