Aged abt. Fifty four Years Lodging in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes
in the County of Middx taken the 11th. day of Janry 1739 Who upon
her Oath Saith that abt. Seven Years agoe she this Exaiant
was by an Order under the Hands & Seales of two of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the sd. County of Middx (one
of the Quorum) removed from the Parish of St. Leonard in
Shoreditch to the Parish of St. Katherine by the Tower as the
place of her last legall Settlemt. wch sd. Order of removall was
never Appealed agt. as this Exaiant ever heard And this
Exaiant Further Saith that her sd. Husbands father had
a Certificate from the sd. Parish of St. Katherine by the Tower
and that her sd. Husband never was an Apprentice Rented
Ten Pounds a Yeare lived with any Person as a Yearly hired
Servt. for the space of one Yeare or otherwise gained a
Settlemt. to her knowledg or beliefe & that she is Lame
& Poor & not able to maintaine herselfe
