Ann Poole< no role > aged abt. 27 years upon Oath says she
never was Married And that she lived a hired Yearly Servt.
with Mrs. Foot in the Parish of Maidstone in the County
of Kent for Three Years and Upwards at the Yearly
Wages of Four Pounds and Ten Shillings; hath quitted
said Service abt. three Years and hath not since
Rented Ten Pounds a Year or lived a hired Yearly
Servant for One Year. And further Upon her
Voluntary Oath Says that on the 27th. day of
June last she was delivered of a female Bastard Child
in the house of Mrs. Foulks in Vere Street in the Parish
of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr. in the County of Middlx which has
Since been baptized by the name of Elizabeth< no role > and is
now living and become chargeable to the said Parish
says That one John Ling< no role > a Journey man Taylor who
lodges at Mr Cox's (No. 20) in Stuarts Rents in the parish
of St. Giles in the fields did beget the said female Bastd.
Child on her body he the said John Ling< no role > having had Carnal
knowledge of this Examinants body the later End of
the Month of Sepr. 1759 & at sevl. other times Since at
one of which times he got her with Child of the female
Bastard Child of which she was delivered as aforesaid
and that the said John Ling< no role > and no other person is
the true & real father thereof.
