Danes in the County of Middx upon Oath says she is the
Widow of John Mackey< no role > who has been dead abt. five Yrs.
by whom she has One Child now living with her [..]
[..] says her said husband
informed her and which Information she verily
believes to be true that he served Seven Years Apprentice
ship with Mr. Beardmore a Brazier in St. John Street
in the Parish of St. James Clerkenwell in the County of
Middx. and never Rented Ten pounds a Year paid
Parish Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servt. for One
Year to this Examinants knowledge or belief.
And further Upon her Voluntary Oath says that on the
5th. day of May 1760 she was delivered of a Male Bastard
Child in the house of the said Mrs. Gwillum which has
since been baptized Joseph< no role > and is now living and likely
to become chargeable to the said Parish of St. Clement
Danes She being poor & Unable to Maintain the same
says that Joseph Treadwell< no role > This name instance is in set 1043. als. Treddle< no role > who is a
Servant to the said Mrs. Gwillum had Carnal knowledge
of her Body in the latter End of July or beginning of August
1759 and at sevl. other times since at One of which
times he got her with Child of the Male Bastard Child of
which she was delivered as aforesaid and that the said
Joseph Treadwell< no role > als Treddle and no other Person is
the true & real father thereof.
