Mary Evans< no role > aged abt. 29 years upon Oath
says she never was Married says she lived a
hired Yearly Servt. with Mr. Streater a pastry Cook the
Corner of Clare Court in Drury Lane in the Parish of
St. Clemt. Danes in the Liberty of Westmr. & County of
Middx. for One Year certain at the Yearly wages of
Four Pounds and hath quitted sd. Service abt.
three years and hath not since Rented Ten Pounds
a year paid Parish Taxes or lived a hired yearly
Servt. for one year. And further upon her Voluntary
Oath says she is pregnant with Child or Children which
is likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
Chargeable to the sd. Parish of St. Clemt. Danes where
she now lodges she being poor and unable to
Maintain the same when born; says that One
John Freeman< no role > a Shoemaker who lodges at No. 8.
in Stuarts Rents in Drury Lane had Carnal
knowledge of her Body in some publick the house of [..]
