Ann Elson< no role > aged upwds. of 50 Yrs. upon Oath
says she is the widow of Wm. Elson< no role > who hath been
dead abt. Ten Years and that before his intermarriage
with this Examinant & whilst he was a single
Man he lived a hired Yearly Servant with Mr.
Stevens a Distiller in the Butcher Row in the
Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the Liberty of Westmr
in the County of Middx. for one Year & upwards
at the Yearly Wages of five Pounds as this
Examinants said late husband hath informed
her and as she verily believes says her sd.
husband in his life time after he quitted this said Service nor she since his
death never Rented Ten Pounds a Year paid
Parish Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant
for one Year.
