Susannah Butler< no role > aged abt. 28 yrs. upon Oath
says she was never married & that she lived a hired
yearly Servant with Mr. Edwd. Pryor< no role > a Butcher
in the Butcher Row in the Parish of St. Clement
Danes in the County of Middx for one year &
upwards at the yearly Wages of four Pounds &
hath quitted her said Service abtMonths
and further upon her Voluntary Oath says she
is pregnant with Child or Children which is
likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards & to
become Chargeable to the said Parish of St. Clemt
Danes she being poor & unable to maintain the
same when born & that one John Denton< no role > a
Labourer did beget the sd. Child or Children on her
Body he the said John Denton< no role > having had
Carnal Knowledge of this Examinants Body in yr.
Month of July last in her sd. Master's house & at
sevl. other times since at one of wch. times he got her
with Child of the Bastard Child or Children with which she
is now pregnant & that he the sd. John Denton< no role > & no other
Person is the true & real father thereof
