Margaret Fleetwood< no role > aged about 23 Years upon Oath saith
She never was Marryed that She lived a hired Yearly Servant with
Mr. Walker a Chair maker in the Parish of St. Brides London upwards
of a year at the yearly wages of Four pounds and hath quitted her
said Service about four years and hath not since Rented Ten pounds a
year paid Parish Taxes or lived a yearly Servant for one year and
further upon her voluntary Oath says that on the 28th. day of January
last She was delivered of a Male Bastard Child in the House of Mr.
Sutherland a Poulterer in Blackmoor Street in the Parish of St.
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster and which hath since
been baptized Samuel< no role > & is still living and likely to become Chargeable
to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes She being poor & unable to
maintain the same And that Samuel Hilliard< no role > now a Servant to
Mr. Wills in Princess Street Rotherhith did beget the said Male Bastard Child on her
Body he the said Samuel Hilliard< no role > having had Carnal Knowledge of
this Examinant's Body in [..] the Month of March in the Year 1753 in the House
of Mr. Shirley at the Dover Castle in Lambeth March and at several
times since at one of which times he got her with Child of the Male
Child She was delivered of as aforesaid And that the said Samuel
Hilliard
< no role > is the true and real Father thereof
