Ann Page< no role > aged about 34 Years upon Oath saith
she is the Wido. of Geo Page< no role > who has been dead upwards
of four Years and that she has not intermarried with
any other person since his Decease And this Examinant
further voluntarily maketh Oath that she is pregnt
with Child or Children which is likely to be born a
bastard or bastards and to become Chargeable to the
said Parish of St Clement Danes in the County of Middx
(where she now lodges) she being poor & unable to maintain
the same when born and that Joseph Rivers< no role > a News
Carrier did beget the said bastard Child or Children
or her body the said Joseph Rivers< no role > having had Carnal
knowledge of this Examinant in April last at his
house in Windmill Court near Smithfield London
(where this Examint. lived with him as a Servt) and at
several other times Since at one of which times he
got her with Child of the said bastard Child or Children
with which she is now Pregnant and that the said
Joseph Rivers< no role > & no other person is the true & real
father thereof
