upon Oath Saith she was married to her sd. late husbd.
at the Fleet London in or about the month of Decr.
1748 that her sd. husband was a German & never gained
a Settlemt. in England to her Knowledge & dyed abt. 7 Yrs. since and that
she this Examinant was bound Apprentice about
27 Yrs. ago to Mrs. Gregory a Mantua Maker for
five Years & after she had Served about half her
time the sd. Mrs. Gregory left of Trade and assigned
this Examinant over to Mrs. Brotherton a Mantua
Maker with whom she Served out the remainder
of her Apprentiship and lodged during the last
Year of her time wth. the sd Mrs. Brotherton opposite
St Clements Church in the Parish of St Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex and after the Expiration
of her Apprentiship lived a Yearly Servt. wth. the
sd Mrs. Brotherton in the same house at the
Yearly wages of £5 for one Year or thereabts.
that since she left Mrs. Brotherton she
has not rented ten Pounds a Year paid
