(to wit) Ann James< no role > aged about Thirty Five Years upon
her Oath Saith That she was married to Evans James< no role > at the
Parish Church of Saint Andrew in the County of Glamorganshire
in Walls about20Twenty Years ago That about17Seventeen Years ago her said
Husband went to Jamaica in the West Indies for the recovery of his
Health since which time this Examinant Bath beard Nothing of him and
therefore Concludes he hath [..] bee [..] long since Dead And this
Examinant Further Upon her Oath Saith that she lived as an hired
Yearly Servant with Mr Samuel Darby< no role > an Iron Merchant in the Parish
of Saint Mary Somerset in the City of London for Upwards of Twelve
Months [..] Yearly Wages of Nine Pounds that since she quitted her said
Service she has not done any Act Matter or Thing whereby to the
best of her knowledge Information or Belief she may have a
gained a Settlement Elsewhere
