Sarah Sleet< no role > aged about Twenty four Years on her Oath
Says she never was married Rented House or paid Taxes
Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with Mr. Robinson an
Attorney at No. 9 Elm Court Middle Temple London for fifteen
Months at the Yearly Wages of Seven pounds hath quitted her
said Service about Two Months ago since which time she hath
gained no other Settlement And further on her Voluntary Oath
says she is pregnant with Child or Children which is or are
likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards and to become chargeable
to the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes (she being Poor and
unable to maintain the same when born) And further says that
Anthony Heathcott< no role > Clerk to the said Mr. Robinson did begett
such Bastard Child or Children on her Body in his the said
Mr. Robinsons Chambers sometime in the Month of December
last but the particular day she does not now remember and
at different times afterwards at one of which times he got her
with Child of the Child or Children of which she is now
pregnant and that the said Anthony Heathcott< no role > and no other
person did begett the same and that he is the real and true
Father thereof.
