to wit Elizabeth Stewart< no role > Aged about nineteen years on her Oath says she
never was Married Rented House paid Taxes was an Apprentice or ever
lived a hired yearly Servant for One year says her Father William
Stewart
< no role > now Rents and lives in a House in Water Street in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex and as so
done for three years and upwards at the yearly Rent of Fourteen
Pounds and [..] pays Parish Taxes due for the same and further
on her Voluntary Oath says she is Pregnant with [..] Child or
Children which is or are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards
and to become Chargeable to the said Parish (she being poor and
unable to maintain the same when born) and that One James Richardson< no role >
an attorney , as she Believes, who lives at >No 6 Ground Floor Lyons
Inn in the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes is the Father thereof
he having had Carnal knowledge of her Body at his Brothers Chambers in Lyons Inn aforesaid some time in the
Months of November last but the particular Day she does not now
now remember and at several Different times afterwards at One
of which times he got her with Child of the Child or Children of which
she is now Pregnant and that the said James Richardson< no role > and no
other person did beget the same and that he is the real and true
Father thereof
