Elizabeth Bainbridge< no role > aged about Nineteen Years on her
Oath says she never was Married Rented House or paid
Taxes says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with
Doctor Brocklesby in Norfolk Street in the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex
for Thirteen Months at the Yearly Wages of Eight Pounds
hath quitted her said service about three Months ago
sine which time she hath gained no other Subsequent
Settlement And further on her Oath says that on
the 26th. day of Augt last she was delivered of a Male
Bastard Child in the Workhouse belonging to the said
Parish of Saint Clement Danes which hath sine been baptized by the Name of William< no role > and is now
Chargeable there to (she being poor and unable to
Maintain the same) and that one William Crisp< no role > a
Farrier in the Kings Mews is the Father thereof
he having had Carnal knowledge of her Body at
his the said Crisp's Uncles House in Chandos Street
some time in the Month of November last but the
particular day she does not now remember and at
several different times afterwards at one of
which time she got her with Child of the Male
Bastard Child of which she was so delivered as aforesaid
And that the said William Crisp< no role > and no other person
did beget the same and that he is the real and true
Father thereof
