John Davis< no role > This name instance is in set 2076. aged about 26 Years on his Oath says
he never was Married Rented house or paid Taxes
Says he lived a hired Yearly Servant with one Mr
Plumber at the Talbot Inn in Shrewsbury upwards
of three Years at the Yearly Wages of Seven Pounds besides
Bed and Board hath quitted the said Mr- Plumbers
Service about eight Years ago and after quitting the
above mentioned Service he came to London and has lived
in several different Places the last of Which was with
Messrs. Redform & Hollingsworths Livery Stables in
Little Moor Fields in the Parish of St- Giles's Cripplegate
London but says he never was hired into such Place
but that this Examinant was to have 5 Shillings a
Week besides Bed and Board, and hath continued in
such last mentioned Service for upwards of two Years
and hath not gained any or- subseqt- Settlemt- than as
before mentioned
