Catherine Wetherspuron< no role > Aged about Nineteen
Years on her Oath Says she never was married Rented
House or paid Taxeses Says she lived with Mr. Crofts a
Wine Merchant in the parish of Twickenham in the
County of Middlesex for Two [..] Years at the Yearly
Wages of four pounds Ten Shillings hath quitted his
said Service upwards of One Year and four Months
since which time she never gained any other Subseqt.
Settlement And further upon her Voluntary Oath says
she was delivered of a Female Bastard Child on the 25th day of Decr last in
the House of Mrs. Nailer in the Strand in the
Parish of St. Clement Danes which has since been
baptized by the Name of Hester< no role > and is now become
Chargable to said Parish she beeing Poor and unable
to maintain the same And that one Mr.Robert William
Warburton
< no role > Son ofRobt. William Warburton< no role > a Distiller in
Drury Lane is the Father thereof he having had
Carnal Knowledge of her Body at Mrs.at Mr.Spackman
House at Twickenham in the sd. County of Middlesex
is the he having had Carnal knowledge of herin April last
Past but the Particular day she does not now
remember at which time he got her with Child of the Female Bastard Child of which
she was so delivered as aforesaid and that the said
Robert William Warburton Junr< no role > . and no other person did
beget the same and that he is the real and true
Father thereof.
