Edwd. Brady< no role > aged about 36 Years upon Oath saith
in the Year 1746 he rented a house opposite Surry
Street in the Strand in the Parish of St. Clement
Danes in the County of Middx (then known by the
Sign of the hoop and Bunch of Grapes ) and lived
therein about 18 Months and that he took the house
of one Marjoram with whom he agreed to pay the
Yearly Rent of £30 for the said house and that
he actually paid the sd. Rent of £30 for the time
he continued to rent the sd house which was 18
months as aforesaid by Quarterly payments.
Says he has not since he quitted the sd house rented
Ten Pounds a Year paid Parish taxes lived a Yearly
Servant for one Year or otherwise gained a Settlemt.
in any other place to his knowledge or beleif
