Ann Lucas< no role > aged abt. 31 Years upon Oath saith she
never was married rented ten pounds a Year paid Parish
Taxes or was an Apprentice or Yearly Servt. for one Year
and that her father Richd Lucas< no role > deceased lived in and [..]
the Kings Arms Ale house in Horton Street Clarence
in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the Liberty of
Westmr. for a considerable & paid Scot & Lot time and never after he quitted
that house rented ten pounds a Year paid Parish Taxes
or otherwise gained a Settlement in any other Place to
her Knowledge or belief and that her mother is now a
Pensioner in one of the Alms houses of the sd. Parish
And further upon her Voluntary Oath saith she was
delivered of a Male Bastard Child on the 12th. Day of
December Instant at Nurse Alexanders in Peter
Street in the Parish of St Clemt. Danes aforesd. which
has been baptized Richard< no role > and is become chargeable
to the sd. Parish she being Poor and unable to maintain
the same and that William Johnson< no role > a Joiner who
worked in King Street Westmr. (and who as she has
been Informed and verily believes is since deceased
was the reputed father the said William Johnson< no role >
