Mary Hermitage< no role > upon Oath saith she
was never married Says she lived a Yearly
hired Servant with Mr. Steer a Grocer near
the Markett Cross in the Parish of Great St.
Mary in the County of Cambridge for the Space
of three Years at the Yearly Wages of three
Pounds & hath left her said Service upwds. of
two Years Says she hath not since she left
the sd. Mr. Steers Service rented ten pounds
a Year paid Parish Taxes lived a Yearly
Servant for one Year or otherwise gained a
Settlement in any other place to her knowledge
or beleif and further upon her Voluntary
Oath Saith she was delivered of a female
Bastard Child on the 22d. Day of June last
in the parish of St. Clement Danes in the
County of Middlesex which was Baptiz'd
Mary< no role > & became Chargeable to the sd. Parish
but is since dead Says that James Johnson< no role >
a Taylor did begett the sd. female Bastard
