Ann Hewitt< no role > aged about 21 Years removed from
the Parish of St. Geo. Hanover Square by Order
dated the 12th: Instant upon her Oath saith she
was never married Says she lived a Yearly hired
Servant with Mr. Davis at the White horse in
Blackmoor Street in the Parish Church of St.
Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex
at the Yearly Wages of 40s. & 50s. for the Space
of One Year & Six Months & hath left her said
Service near Seven Years Says she hath not
since rented ten pounds a Year paid Parish
Taxes lived a Yearly hired Servant for one Year
or otherwise gained a Settlement in any other
Place to her knowledge or beleif and further
upon her Voluntary Oath saith she is pregnant
with Child or Children which is likely to be bor [..]
a Bastard or Bastards & to become Chargeable
to the sd. Parish of St. Clement Danes she being
Poor & unable to maintain the same when born
and that Wm. Ayres< no role > late of Acton Husbandman
did begett the sd. Bastard Child or Children on
her Body the sd. Wm. Ayres< no role > being a fellow Servt .
with this Examinant at Mr. Lotts in Acton
