(to wit) Mary Wood< no role > Widow Aged 31 years on
thereabouts Upon Oath saith that about four
Years ago she intermarried with her late Husband
John Wood< no role > at the parish Church of St. John
Hackney in the County of Middlesex by whom she
hath [..] two Children now living
Namely Ann< no role > Aged 2 years & ten Months or thereabouts
and Charles< no role > Aged one year and four Months or
thereabouts that Ann< no role > the Elder & of her said Child
is now living with and supported by her Uncle the [..]
of this Deponent's Husband's Sister who resides at
Cambridge & keeps the led Lyon by the Bridge there - that her
said [..] Husband was killed on Board his Majestys Ship
the sheerness [..] then at Barbadeer about
Eighteen Months ago, that he hath informed her that previous to the
Marriage of this Examinant with her said Husband
John Wood< no role > and while he was single and unmarried
not having any Child or Children he lived as an
yearly Servant with Mr. Purcell Sheriffs Officer
on Houghton Street Clare Market in the parish of
St Clement Danes aforesaid for [..] a year & a
half or upwards [..] but at what Wages this Deponent
hath never been Informed that her said Husband [..]
her he quitted such Service about ten years ago &
since hath not by any means what ever acquired
any other legal settlement And that she is now
poor and unable to maintain herself and Child
