(to wit) Ann Macklin< no role > Widow Aged 53 years
or thereabouts Upon Oath saith that about
Six years ago and since the Decease of her
late Husband John Macklin< no role > [..] Silk Dyer
(to whom she [..] was married at St Clement Danes Church
in the strand near 21 years ago) she lived as an
hired yearly Servant with [..] Mr. Dawen
at No. 38 in Lawrence Lane in the parish of St. Martin
le bow London for the space of three year & an half
together at Seven pounds a year Wages, and since
she quitted that Service she hath nothiredlived as
an hired yearly Servant for one whole year together
Rented a Tenement or Lodging of £10 a year paid
any parish Taxes contracted Matrimony or done
any ActMatterwhatsoever which upon knowley
or belief may have gained her a settlement in the
parish or place [..] And this Deponent further said
that she was removed by Orders of Removal [..]
from the parish of St Clement Danes be the said
parish of St. Mary Le Bow London in or about
December last and or the settlement by the service aforesaid and [..] was Maintained with
their poor at Hoxton in the County of Middlesex
about five Months to which Order of Removal
they have not at any time appealed and that
she is unable to provide for herself
without some Assistance and has therefore
