St Clement Danes & continued there a Widow till abt.
a Month or 5 Weeks agowhen& that she then had
Married but knows not to whom & left the House
she had resided in an or about Saturday last And this
Deponent farther upon her Oath saith that she
cannot tell where she now is or whither she went
when she quitted the sameApartmentHouse and did not
Know till the Sunday Night (when she went to & did to leave
the Childthe said Infant Child Mary Ann< no role > in the said Court) that
she the said Bridget Scott< no role > was then gone
And that the said Children are leftby the& deserted
by their said Mother without any provision for
or means of support to the best of her knowledge
or belief And Ann Davis< no role > Widow aged [..] fifty
Nine years or thereabouts upon her Oath saith
the said Infant Child Charles Scott< no role > here in before
mentioned was brought to her this Deponent abt.
Six Weeks ago by the said Bridgett Scott< no role > to Nurse
at 3s a Week that she came regularly on theevery
Saturday Evening & paid for the Week due the
the said Weekly Allowance & last Saturday Night
paid the Sum due for the preceeding Week &
but did not mention any thing of her intention of deserting the [..]
said to this Examinant that she was removing her
things into an Apartment in Princes Street . & [..]
same &desired this Examt. to come & see it & not
to fearful for she would pay her for Nursing the
Child in future four Shilligs a Week, And that
Ann Davis< no role > the Dane of this Examinant being sentgoing
into Princes Street to enquire on same Business on the
Sunday she was informed thatthereno Mr Scott lived there And
that in consequence this Deponent went [..] to enquire
after the said Bridget Scott< no role > to the Apartment which she
