to wit Mary Eaton< no role > This name instance is in set 606. This set is in the group(s): MothersCD . aged about 30 years upon her
Oath saith that she never was married that she
lived as a hired yearly Servant with one Mr.
Huxley in Fountain Court in the Strand and in the
parish of Saint Clement Danes for 14 Month
at the yearly Wages of four pounds hath quitted
said Service about twelvemonths ago since which
time she hath done no Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement And further on her Oath saith that
on the 22d. day of Septr. 1785 she was delivered of
a female Bastard Child in the House of a Mr.
Kent Peter Street Westmr. in the Parish of St.
John the Evangelist in the Liberty of Westmr.
And further says that her said Child never
gained any or. Settlement than by Birth
That her said Child has been half baptized
by the Name of Frances Eaton< no role > and that
she this Examinant wishes to leave same
to the Care of the Parish that she may go
